— Itinerary

DAY 1 (May 20)

​

Upon arrival in Kahalui (OGG), collect your bags. Take your personal shuttle to the airport.  The journey from the airport should take 45 minutes depending on traffic. Our hotel check in time will be 4 pm.
Please note the follow:
- that airport shuttle is not included in the cost of this trip.  We recommend booking a shuttle through www.speedishuttle to get to our hotel. 

- hotel hold on your credit card when checking is based on the number of nights we are staying.  So you can expect the hotel hold be roughly $310.  This hold will be released upon check out.  

Once you arrive, rest and get acclimated we’ll meet in the common area of the hotel to attend a
luau! We will enjoy a traditional Hawaiian dinner and enjoy a Polynesian show.

*Members are encouraged to book your flights early arriving into Maui before 3pm. This will help ensure that you make the Luau. There will be no credits or rescheduling the Luau if it is missed due to later flight arrivals or flight delays.

DAY 2 (May 21) 

​

This morning starts bright and early with a tour on one of the most iconic drives in the United States, the Road
to Hana! We will visit ancient Hawaiian historical sites, waterfalls, valleys, breathtaking gorgeous coasts, black
sand beaches, and more!  

Note: The road to Hana is a very windy road that continues up the side of a mountain.  There will be a number of stops throughout the drive to help prevent motion sickness.

DAY 3 (May 22) 

​

Today is yours to relax, shop or enjoy the beaches of Maui!

​

DAY 4 (May 23)
 

Today after breakfast we will begin our day with morning yoga at our hotel! 

After yoga we will head to the beach for our private surf lesson. After our lesson feel free to relax on the beach, or explore!

DAY 5 (May 24) 

​

On our final full day on Maui you will have the opportunity to do site seeing on your own. Explore, lay
out by the beach or enjoy a spa day at the hotel. We will meet up for a sunset sail. You will enjoy a private sail
while sipping on cocktails and enjoying an assortment of dishes.

DAY 6 (May 25) 

​

Hotel check out is 11:00 am. Please arrange your departure transfer based on the time that best suits your departure.

​Local Transportation - All ground transportation to and from our activities.

Accommodations - 6 days, 5 nights at a 4 Star hotel located on the beachfront in Lahaina

Activities – We will partake in several activities throughout our time in Hawaii including; yoga on the beach, visiting black sand beach, visiting red sand beach, surfing lesson, private cruise with dinner, Upcountry Trolley Tour, Road to Hana Private Tour, Luau, and relaxation at the beach!

Accommodation - 6 days, 5 nights at a 4 Star hotel located on the waterfront in Lahaina.

 

Each double room includes: two twin size beds, private bath room, tea and coffee-making facilities, TV, air condition and free Wi-Fi.

Each single room includes: one queen size bed, private bath room, tea and coffee-making facilities, TV, air condition and free Wi-Fi

​

Amenities: Beachfront property, onsite restaurant and bar, swimming pools, nightly live entertainment

— Payment Terms

​

Full Payment Special - $100 off total cost if full payment is made on 7/15/19 

​

A $75 late charge will be applied to all payments made after the 3-day grace period.  Missed payments will be applied to the next month plus the $75 late fee. Trip will be automatically cancelled after two missed payments.  No refund of deposit or payments will be provided to a trip cancelled due to missed payments.

​

— Invoices

​

Payments will made via an invoice.  Invoice can be paid via Visa, Mastercard, AMEX or Discover card. Invoices are sent to the email address that members provide.  It is guest responsibility to sign up to the client portal to make payments for each trip each month. (1) invoice is sent to guest each month, invoices are sent to clients at least 10 days before they are due.

— Refund Policy
 

24 hour cancellation.  

Deposit will be refunded upon request 24 hours after trip has been booked. After 24 hours of booking no refunds of deposits will be given.

​

Non-refundable deposit and payments. After 24 hours of booking no refunds of deposits or payments will be given.

Trips are nontransferable. 

​

​Deposit Transfer to Future Trips - If you request to cancel your trip, the trip deposit only can be used toward a future Sisters Traveling Solo group trip (traditional or cultural; excludes Solo Getaways) that you are not currently making payments.  If you have paid a deposit or made any payments on a trip that is not considered a future trip.  A future trip is one in which no money has been exchanged between you the member and Sisters Traveling Solo; deposit or payments.

For deposit transfer request, the deposit on the trip you are cancelling is applied to the 1st payment on the the future trip. You, the member would pay your deposit for the future trip, and your deposit will be credited towards the 1st payment of that future trip.

 

Deposit transfer request for for either trip must be received via email only at the following address info@sisterstravelingsolo.com before December 15, 2019 (11:59 pm eastern standard time). Trip transfer request not received via email will not be accepted. After December 15, 2019 (11:59 pm eastern standard time) trip deposit cannot be transferred to another Sisters Traveling Solo trip.  

If your trip is cancelled due to you missing two consecutive trip payments, you cannot apply the deposit to any future Sisters Traveling Solo trips no matter when the trip was cancelled.

​We highly encourage you to purchase travel insurance in case you have to cancel your trip so that if you have to cancel, your travel insurance policy can reimburse you. Sisters Traveling Solo will not reimbursement members outside of the terms disclosed above.  If member is unable to make the trip due to medical issues, member needs to work directly with their travel insurance provider for trip reimbursement.

Flights - Flight or transportation to or from Hawaii - Kahului Airport

Local Transport – Outside of the organized activities.

Meals – meals not mentioned in above itinerary; no alcoholic beverages or desserts are included in any of the meals.

Visas - Any travel visas that may required based on Country of residency

Insurance – Travel or health insurance.

Souvenirs - Cost of souvenirs.

Gratuity - for Guides, Drivers, Cooks, Staff, or Waiters. 

Tours/Excursions - Outside of the organized tours we will assist you in booking any additional tours you would like to arrange.

Additional Hotel Cost – Outside of what has already been arranged by Sisters Traveling Solo (STS).

Travel Insurance - Travel Insurance is not provided but is REQUIRED to attend this trip.  You will be asked to show proof of travel insurance before we depart.  A minimum of $250,000 in travel insurance is REQUIRED; coverage in total must cover (medical & evacuation). Travel insurance can be obtain when you purchase you flight or with World Nomad using the link below. 

 

Sisters Traveling Solo will not travel with or include anyone in trip activities who doesn’t present the required travel insurance documentation at least 6 weeks before trip departure date.  STS will alert you when and how to provide travel insurance information, please avoid emailing us any information.  When requested travel insurance information to include the requested coverage amounts and the dates that cover the span of our trip.
